The graduation ceremony of the University of Tartu Pärnu College will take place at Pärnu Concert Hall on 17 June at 16:00. Graduates are kindly requested to arrive at the concert hall by 15:00. The graduates accept congratulations in the courtyard of the concert hall following the ceremony.
On January 13, 2025, from 12:00 to 13:00, representatives from IHG Hotels & Resorts Malta (hotels InterContinental Malta, Holiday Inn Express Malta, and voco Malta) will visit Pärnu College.
A course representative is a student who voluntarily works for the wellbeing of their course, represents the course on relevant issues, and is committed to ensuring that the study period at Pärnu College is focused on acquiring higher education and fostering friendly interactions within the course.
Once during their studies, students on the curriculum of Tourism and Hotel Management at Pärnu College have the chance to apply for participation at the EMCup, a cross-European competition for hotel schools. Our students have gained high-level competition and teamwork experience in front of top European hotel industry professionals, established contacts with other tourism schools, and found international internships and jobs through this grand event. The main focus of the competition is writing an academic article and presenting it in an elevator pitch format during the competition days, but there are also several other tasks before and after that guarantee stepping out of the comfort zone while combining effort with fun. Members of the College Student Council are the first to notice shortcomings or deficiencies in the study or campus environment of the University of Tartu Pärnu College. Comprising predominantly one-fifth of the college council, they are its voting members and can make proposals for changes.
