International science conference "Aspects of blue economy at different spatial scales"

The international science conference focuses on opening up the field of resource management, which was launched by the college last academic year, through the addressing of marine ecosystems.

The opening keynote speech, 'Overview of the European blue economy', will be delivered by Prof. Jörn Schmidt, chair of the science committee of the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES).

A high-level discussion panel will follow with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Climate and the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Regional Affairs and Agriculture.

The conference moderator is Sander Loite, a journalist specialising in nature and environmental issues at Estonian Public Broadcasting (ERR).
