Reet Soosaar attended the 2nd International Week for Language Teachers

Reet Soosaar, Lecturer in English attended the 2nd International Week for Language Teachers “Language Teaching Tomorrow“ in Jyväskylä and Tampere, Finland 18-22 May 2015 .

A common topic throughout the presentations, workshops, and panel discussions was Changing Pedagogical Needs in Higher Education. The international week was arranged by Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) and Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences (JAMK) for university-level language teachers. It aimed at sharing good practices, jointly producing new ideas for teaching, launching new co-operation projects, and networking with colleagues. There were language teachers from 21 countries and more than 50 institutions of higher education participating in the conference.

Reet Soosaar conducted a workshop on „Supporting Collaborative and Entrepreneurial Spirit in the Classroom“.  
The first year students of entrepreneurship and project management will be involved in an international communication project in cooperation with the universities from eight countries (Germany, Hungary, Finland, Russia, Azerbaijan, Spain, Poland, Estonia) in autumn 2015.
